THE PAGODA

On 23 May 1996, China's civil aviation minister and the Dutch ambassador to China agreed that there would be bi-weekly flights from Amsterdam to Beijing. During the first flight on 26 June 1996, a miniature of The Hall of Prayer for Good Harvests in Beijing was presented to passengers. This miniature is also known as The KLM Pagoda.
